Distribution and Exposure
  • Find three more anchor art markets.
  • Find three more small shops that will sell artwork and/or stock craft items.
  • Submit art to nine exhibition opportunities
  • Find two venues that will regularly display artwork.
  • Keep both websites current with new craft items and paintings.
  • Submit art and bio to two publications.
  • Submit art to six galleries.
  • Enter paintings in three competitions.
Contacts and Community
  • Become more active in Wake Forest Guild of Artists, Durham Art Guild, and Triangle Arts Alliance.
  • Expand contacts among artists.
  • Volunteer with WFGA.
  • Explore possibilities for teaching.
Communications and Branding
  • Establish a solid social media presence (500 Instagram followers, 150 Facebook followers).
  • Work to identify my niche as an artist.
  • Consider quarterly e-newsletter.
  • Write blog posts for danielartandyarn.com (one every other month).
  • Begin building an email list from website visitors and customers.
  • Grow email list to 90 addresses.
Technical Skills and Learning
  • Keep improving technical skills as an artist, both in painting and in drawing.
